AIRPORT – COLOMBO APPROX 30 MIN DRIVE
Upon your arrival at the airport in Sri Lanka, you will be greeted by our Unique Lanka Travels representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Colombo.
After arriving in Colombo, immerse yourself in the vibrant mix of cultures that define the city. Start with a visit to the Gangaramaya Temple, where you can witness the harmonious blend of Buddhist, Hindu, and indigenous architecture.
Stroll through the bustling streets of Pettah, where the sights, sounds, and aromas of the local markets will awaken your senses. Don’t miss the chance to sample some delicious street food specialties.
In the evening, head to the Galle Face Green promenade to catch a breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean. You can either try your luck at one of Colombo’s renowned casinos or dance the night away at one of the city’s vibrant nightclubs.

Day 02
COLOMBO – KANDY APPROX 02 ½ HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kandy. En route, make a memorable stop at the Millennium Elephant Foundation. Spend some time observing these majestic creatures as they roam and bathe in the river.
On your way, stop at a renowned Ceylon Gems workshop, where you can learn about the fascinating world of gemstones. Discover the history, mining process, and importance of gems in Sri Lankan culture.
Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to your hotel and freshen up for an exciting afternoon ahead.

KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA APPROX 02 ½ HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” for its cool climate and picturesque landscapes. En route, visit the breathtaking Ramboda Falls along the Nuwara Eliya road. The majestic cascade of water amidst lush greenery creates a mesmerizing scene. Standing in awe of its beauty, one can truly appreciate nature’s wonders.
Afterward, visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the process of the internationally renowned Ceylon tea cultivation, harvesting, and production. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea while admiring the view of the misty mountains.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and check into your hotel, surrounded by rolling hills and tea plantations.

DAY 04
NUWARA ELIYA
In the early morning at 5:30 am, you leave for an exciting tour to Horton Plains National Park in a local van. This journey takes approximately one hour. The hotel will prepare breakfast packets for you to take and enjoy at a scenic spot within the park.
Horton Plains is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its unique ecosystems, rolling grasslands, dense forests, and stunning landscapes. Hike to popular attractions such as World’s End, a sheer cliff with a breathtaking view over the plains, and Bakers Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.
After exploring Horton Plains, make your way to a nearby strawberry farm where you can pick fresh strawberries and even indulge in them with whipped cream. While there, you’ll also have the chance to purchase various products made from strawberries.
Conclude your day in Nuwara Eliya by taking a delightful tuk-tuk ride! Hop on a colorful tuk-tuk and enjoy a scenic journey through winding roads, passing by cascading waterfalls, lush tea plantations, and serene lakes. A tuk-tuk ride in Nuwara Eliya allows visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty and tranquility of Sri Lanka’s hill country while also experiencing an authentic local adventure.

DAY 05
NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – BENTOTA APPROX 05 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, bid farewell to Nuwara Eliya and proceed on a scenic drive to Bentota via the charming town of Ella.
Take a Tuk–Tuk ride to visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, a marvel of colonial-era engineering surrounded by lush greenery and the verdant landscape. Thereafter, visit Little Adam’s Peak. It’s named after its big brother, the holy mountain Adam’s Peak, because of the similar shape. It is very popular among tourists, so expect to meet many other people from all over the world on this trip.
Continue your journey to Bentota, en route; visiting Ravana Waterfall, Sri Lanka’s most iconic waterfall, named after the legendary king Ravana.
Check in to your hotel in Bentota and relax by the beach, enjoying the warm tropical breeze and golden sands.

DAY 06
BENTOTA
After breakfast, take a day excursion to the city of Galle, including Galle Fort. This coastal city is known for its well-preserved Dutch colonial architecture, and the Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
En route, do a boat tour in the Madu River to experience tranquil mangrove forests, soaking in the natural beauty and unique fish massage as part of the tour. Also, visit the Turtle Hatchery to learn about conservation efforts to protect endangered sea turtle species. Witness baby turtles being nurtured and learn about the process of hatching and releasing them into the ocean.
Thereafter, return to the hotel. Late afternoon, if you wish, you can engage in water sports activities in the Bentota River.
In the evening, enjoy a seafood feast at a beachfront restaurant, sampling the freshest catches of the day while listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean.

BENTOTA – DEPARTURE FROM KATUNAYAKE AIRPORT
After breakfast, take one last stroll along the beach, collecting seashells and memories of your unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka. It is time to bid farewell to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka with a heart full of cherished experiences and a camera full of beautiful memories.
