DAY 01
AIRPORT – HIKKADUWA APPROX 3 HRS DRIVE
Upon your arrival at the airport in Sri Lanka, you will be greeted by our Unique Lanka Travels representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Hikkaduwa.
In the afternoon, take a stroll along the sandy shores, dip your toes in the turquoise waters, or simply relax and enjoy the sunset. Hikkaduwa’s beach offers the perfect setting for unwinding after your journey.

DAY 02,03, 04 & 05
DIVING ADVENTURE IN HIKKADUWA / GALLE / UNAWATUNA
After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to explore your favorite dive sites, encounter marine life, and soak in the beauty of the southern coastal underwater world. For the next four days, you will dive along the southern coast to explore the vibrant marine life and numerous wreck sites. You will be visiting the following diving sites according to the instructions given by the diving instructor on a daily basis.
In the morning, you will proceed to the dive center at 8:30 a.m. with your license to complete the paperwork, get the equipment ready, and have a briefing before you leave at 9:00 a.m. for diving.
With its impressive coral reefs and abundance of tropical fish, HIKKADUWA is recognized as one of the best places for Snorkelling and diving on the Southwest coast (in the southwest season of November to April). With a reputed and long-running diving school located in the town itself, PADI diving instructors are available throughout the season for training and certification as well as leading more experienced divers in some of the country’s best ship wreck and reef dives
Unawatuna / Galle has 16 different dive sites with varying depths from 6 to 32 meters, offering a vibrant variety of dives such as reef dives, rock dives, wreck dives, and night dives. You can enjoy diving and snorkeling around the wreck in Unawatuna Bay, with a maximum depth of around 6 meters, which is recommended for beginners. For advanced divers, there are two wrecks: Rangoon and SS Orestes. The Rangoon wreck lies at a depth of 30 meters and is relatively broken up, while the SS Orestes wreck is more intact at a depth of around 22 meters.

DAY 06
DAY EXCURSION TO YALA NATIONAL PARK – 3 HRS DRIVE ONE WAY
Early in the morning, proceed to Yala with a packed breakfast. After that, visit Yala National Park by Jeep. It is Sri Lanka’s renowned world-famous park for leopard sightings. Also, you could witness other fascinating animals such as elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Enjoy the thrill of traversing through the park’s rugged terrain, dense forests, grasslands, and coastal dunes, all while immersing yourself in the beauty of nature.
After your Jeep safari, return to your hotel in Hikkaduwa.
En route, visit the city of Galle, including the historic Galle Fort. This coastal city is known for its well-preserved Dutch colonial architecture and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will also visit a Turtle Hatchery to learn about conservation efforts aimed at protecting endangered sea turtle species. Witness baby turtles being nurtured and learn about the process of hatching and releasing them into the ocean.

DAY 07
HIKKADUWA – DEPARTURE FROM KATUNAYAKE AIRPORT APPROX 03 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka.
Our Unique Lanka Travels representative, guide, or driver will assist you with your check-out and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
Upon reaching the airport, our team will ensure a smooth transition for your departure, assisting you with check-in procedures and any necessary arrangements.
