Dive points

1. Duke of Shaftesbury (12-14 m)
   You can explore this old British ship, which is still especially close to its marine tenants.
2. The Conch (20 m below sea level)
   A dive that allows you to see the hazardous condition of the SS Conch and the diverse marine life that inhabits the area.
3. Kiralagala (39.5 m)
   The dive starts at the bottom of a large conical rock formation and spirals around to the top. For advanced divers, there are plenty of reef fish soft corals, groups of triggerfish, and barracudas to be found.
4. Diyamba Gala (22 m)
   The reef is home to numerous lobed pore corals, where Christmas tree worms of all hues can be found. This dive site is filled with brightly colored marine animals, including sweetlips, parrotfish, and porcupinefish.
5. Tunatta (13 m)
   This is a very shallow dive, and due to its proximity to the shore, it is subjected to some surge. Be prepared for some finning. The rock formation itself can be quite interesting, with several places to swim through! The fish life is average; however, divers will encounter lobsters, boxfish, and porcupinefish.
6. Off Coral Gardens (13 m)
   This is one of the most relaxing dive experiences one can have. Its shallow depth gives divers plenty of time to explore this beautiful site. This garden of coral, mostly in flaming red and saffron colors, features caves and valleys teeming with many varieties of fauna.
7. Sunil Gala (18 m)
   Another multi-level complex of rocky boulders and overhanging pinnacles. It can be challenging for divers, to maintain stability in the relentless surge. You can observe several species of fish and many more marine life.

Important Notes

• Diving in Sri Lanka is affected by two monsoons: the Southwest and Northeast monsoons. The best time to dive on the South Coast is from mid-October until April, and on the East Coast from mid-March until the end of October.
• Customer safety is our main priority! Our dive briefings cover all safety and standard procedures. In addition, our diving base has a stationary Oxygen Supply and portable DAN Systems that are available on our diving boats
• The boat guides, diving guides, and Dive Instructors are all trained in first-aid assistance
• Our Diving Centres are fully PADI Group PRRA Combined Liability Insured for Public Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Liability
• The Indian Ocean can be a little bit choppy sometimes. If you tend to get seasick, we advise you to take seasick pills 1 hour before getting on the boat
• The dive location would be decided mostly on the day depending on the sea conditions and the experience of the divers.
• Normally, two dives per day are recommended. During your trip, water bottles and cookies will be provided as refreshments.
• Please note that the visibility of the water depends on many factors ( Weather, Tides, Wind, etc.) that disturb the bottom composition. We cannot guarantee great visibility at all times. However, we check the forecast frequently so we can advise you on the best time for diving or other activities.
• Outside Temperature:26 Degrees Celsius to 32 Degrees Celsius the whole year round.
• Water Temperature:27 Degrees Celsius to 29 Degrees Celsius the whole year round.
• Please do not stand on corals while diving.
• Marine life you may see include: Stingrays, Eagle Rays, Turtles, Moray Eels, Nudibranchs, Cuttlefish, Octopus, Barracuda, Trevally, Angelfish, Triggerfish, Soldier Fish, Surgeon Fish, Pufferfish, Fusiliers, Lion Fish, Sea Stars and many other coral reef fish. Whale Sharks can be spotted on both the east and south coasts. Black Tip Reef Sharks you find on the famous Pigeon Island,Whales, and Dolphins can be spotted around Trincomalee while Whale Watching.
